Job Description:
The Pricing Executive will analyze shipping tariffs, structure competitive freight quotes, negotiate carrier buying rates, and support commercial sales teams under supply chain management in Dubai. Explore further commercial logistics and freight operations positions on our management jobs portal.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive commercial freight quotations for Air, Ocean (FCL/LCL), and Overland logistics services.
- Liaise directly with ocean shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, and overseas agents to secure optimal buying rates.
- Monitor global freight market trends, fuel surcharges, and maintain up-to-date pricing databases and rate cards.
- Respond promptly to client freight inquiries, RFQs, and follow up to drive commercial conversion rates.
- Collaborate closely with internal Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Formulate pricing strategies to maximize profit margins while maintaining market competitiveness.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of air freight, sea freight, overland transport operations, and freight forwarding practices.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and rate negotiation capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with carriers, clients, and internal teams.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking ability and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
