Company Overview:

ClearCaptions, LLC is seeking an experienced IT Financial Planner to support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for key technology systems and infrastructure.

Job Description:

The IT Financial Planner will manage technology-related financial strategies, including cloud platforms, AI/ML investments, SaaS applications, and critical IT expenditures.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with IT and Technology leaders to plan, forecast, and monitor technology costs.
• Develop and maintain cost models and financial forecasts for new IT projects.
• Analyze cloud usage, vendor billing data, contracts, and pricing structures.
• Lead FinOps activities for cloud and AI platforms, including cost allocation and budgeting.
• Forecast and manage AI/ML-related expenses, GPU costs, and model hosting.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial forecasting, corporate finance, and data analysis.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and Power Query.
• Knowledge of business case concepts including NPV, IRR, Payback, TCO, CAPEX, and OPEX.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
