Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Dubai, focusing on our US-based real estate operations. This role is fundamental to our financial framework, requiring a professional who can manage complex sets of financial statements and taxation processes for management and audit review. You will be responsible for US federal and state tax filings, industry-specific real estate accounting, and treasury functions including wire transfers and inter-company reconciliations. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage complete sets of financial statements in strict adherence to US GAAP standards across our Dubai office.
- Handle US federal and state tax requirements, including K-1s and Form 1065, to meet management and regulatory standards.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and external auditors regarding month-end closing, inter-company reconciliations, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee real estate-specific tasks including CAM reconciliations, lease accounting, and capital expenditure tracking.
- Utilize digital Information Technology and advanced software (QuickBooks/Xero/Zoho) for efficient treasury functions and financial reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized academic institution; CPA qualification is a strong advantage.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar accounting role with deep expertise in US GAAP.
- Strong background in management of US taxation filings (K-1s, Form 1065) and real estate accounting processes.
- Professional background in education or training regarding international audit standards and lease accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cloud-based accounting software.
- Must be currently based in Dubai or willing to relocate to the UAE for this professional role.
