Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our financial framework, requiring a professional who can manage reporting and maintain compliance for management and regulatory review. You will be responsible for reconciling general ledger accounts, overseeing accounts payable/receivable, and supervising junior staff. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in UAE VAT Regulations and a proactive approach to budgeting and financial analysis. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal management review.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and monitor cash flow to meet company financial policies.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and operations teams regarding payroll, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure strict compliance with UAE VAT regulations and support all internal and external audits.
- Utilize digital Information Technology and accounting software for efficient bank reconciliations and data management.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant academic discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience, with a strong preference for experience within the UAE.
- Strong background in management of financial reporting, general ledgers, and junior accounting staff.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE tax laws, FRS standards, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of modern Information Technology systems used for financial analysis and reporting.
