Job Description:
We are currently hiring a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can manage core accounting functions for management and compliance review. You will be responsible for general ledger management, financial statements, and ensuring full adherence to UAE VAT regulations. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in IFRS Standards and a proactive approach to cost accounting and budgeting. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger and journal entries to meet management and reporting targets.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable in Abu Dhabi to ensure 100% data integrity in supplier and customer transactions.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations and assist in FTA filings.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis while performing thorough bank reconciliations.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and ERP systems (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) to maintain accurate fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized academic institution.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in corporate accounting specifically within the UAE market.
- Strong background in management of month-end and year-end closing processes and variance analysis.
- Professional background in education or training regarding IFRS standards and UAE VAT regulations.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence with high proficiency in ERP and accounting software systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the capability to manage complex financial data in a fast-paced Abu Dhabi environment.
