Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join a dynamic team within the aviation sector in Dubai. This role is fundamental to the organizational framework, requiring a professional who can reconstruct books of accounts for management and audit review. You will be responsible for validating financial documents, managing Trial Balance (TB) preparation, and ensuring compliance with Dubai VAT and customs procedures. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and a proactive approach to handling multi-year financial data. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Reconstruct and prepare books of accounts for the past five years to meet management and audit compliance targets.
- Validate financial documents in Dubai, ensuring 100% data integrity in ledgers, tax records, and customs-related paperwork.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and supply chain teams to manage complete general accounting processes and inventory oversight.
- Ensure all financial records are accurate and compliant with Dubai VAT regulations and Freezone financial standards.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and trade finance systems to maintain organized documentation and support periodic financial reviews.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance plus a relevant professional Certificate.
- 2–3 years of professional experience, with at least 1 year of experience in a UAE Freezone environment preferred.
- Strong background in management of inventory, customs documentation, and Trial Balance (TB) preparation.
- Professional background in education or training regarding Dubai VAT regulations and Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, high accuracy, and the capability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage complex financial data in Dubai.
