Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join a well-established automotive team in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to the organizational framework, requiring a professional who can manage high-volume financial transactions for management and fiscal review. You will be responsible for overseeing Salik, Darb, and traffic fine processes, managing corporate billing, and ensuring accurate fixed asset recording. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Automotive Billing and Fleet Reconciliations and a proactive approach to collection tracking and bank audits. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Salik, Darb, and traffic fine allocations to meet management and operational accuracy targets.
- Support fiscal integrity in Abu Dhabi, ensuring 100% data integrity in corporate billing, fuel-related charges, and Statements of Account (SOA).
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and internal teams to manage petty cash transactions and daily accounting entries for fixed assets.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and track collections to ensure timely recovery of overdue balances from clients.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and automotive accounting software to optimize transaction processing and professional financial reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance plus a relevant professional Accounting Certificate.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience specifically within the car rental or a similar automotive industry.
- Strong background in management of billing procedures, collection cycles, and complex multi-account reconciliations.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE traffic fine systems, Salik/Darb portals, and Excel-based financial analysis.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, high attention to detail, and the capability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a high-volume fleet operation in Abu Dhabi.
