Yas Global is a leading financial services organization in Dubai, UAE. The company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage comprehensive financial operations and support strategic accounting initiatives.

Job Description:

The Senior Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, maintain internal controls, coordinate audits, manage cash flow, implement efficient accounting policies, mentor junior staff, and handle complex reconciliations across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accurate reconciliations for both fiat and crypto accounts.
• Maintain detailed records, internal controls, and audit-ready documentation for management reporting.
• Work closely with external auditors to ensure adherence to IFRS and GAAP standards.
• Manage cash flow, authorize payments, and oversee daily financial processes.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and systems focusing on automation and efficiency.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows.
• Handle complex reconciliations, financial consolidations, and support integration projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience in multinational or fast-paced environments.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP frameworks and accounting best practices.
• Expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit coordination.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance.
• Experience managing financials across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proficiency with accounting systems such as Xero, SAP, or Oracle, and advanced Excel skills.
