Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC and Plumbing to join a major project in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our technical framework, requiring a professional who can manage complex mechanical works and ensure installations meet project specifications for management and authority review. You will be responsible for overseeing HVAC systems, drainage networks, and chilled water installations throughout the project lifecycle. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in UAE Building Codes and exceptional project execution capabilities. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the supervision of HVAC systems, plumbing installations, drainage networks, and chilled water systems across our Abu Dhabi project sites.
- Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings and technical submittals to meet management and compliance standards.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and multidisciplinary engineering teams regarding site execution coordination and safety protocols.
- Manage the testing, commissioning, and final handover of mechanical systems while ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools for accurate tracking of technical submissions and project progress.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant academic discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience specifically within the UAE Construction Sector.
- Strong background in management of large-scale mechanical works, chilled water systems, and plumbing infrastructure.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE building codes, engineering standards, and authority regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on delivering operational excellence and successful project delivery.
