Job Description:
The AutoCAD Specialist – Water & Wastewater Projects will prepare and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings, develop shop drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built documentation, coordinate with project engineers, and maintain drawing revisions for public utility infrastructure in Abu Dhabi.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and modify detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for water and wastewater projects.
- Develop shop drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate construction documentation.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and engineering standards.
- Maintain drawing revisions and document control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review technical drawings and incorporate project updates when required.
- Support project teams with accurate drafting and documentation requirements.
🔹 Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
- 6–7 years of experience as an AutoCAD Specialist or Drafter.
- Mandatory experience in Water & Wastewater Treatment, Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), sewer networks, or public utility infrastructure projects.
- Mandatory hands-on experience working on UAE utility infrastructure projects.
- High level of proficiency in AutoCAD, shop drawings, IFC layouts, and as-built documentation.
