Product Specialist – DRG Coding
About the Role:
Ntigra is looking for a skilled DRG Coding Specialist to join their healthcare IT team in Dubai in a hybrid capacity. This role requires accurate assignment, validation, and review of DRG documentation following UAE and international coding standards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in healthcare coding systems and a commitment to precision and compliance within a professional and dynamic IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The Product Specialist will focus on accurate assignment and validation of Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) codes. Duties include reviewing medical documentation, ensuring compliance with coding rules (ICD, CPT, HCPCS), and maintaining adherence to UAE and international DRG systems. The role leverages strong analytical skills to ensure financial precision in healthcare billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate assignment, validation, and review of DRG documentation.
- Ensure all coding adheres to UAE and international coding standards.
- Strong knowledge of ICD, CPT, HCPCS, and UAE DRG systems.
- Collaborate with the IT team to apply coding knowledge in a technology environment.
- Commitment to precision, compliance, and detail-oriented work.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of professional experience in DRG coding (mandatory).
- CPC, CIC, or CCS certification is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine or Nursing is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
- Must be based in Dubai and available for the hybrid work model.
