Inpatient Operation Executive (IPD)
About the Role:
We are seeking a capable and patient-focused Inpatient Operation Executive (IPD) to support daily inpatient services in a busy hospital setting in Abu Dhabi. This key role acts as the central coordinator for IPD workflows, ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and excellent patient experience across clinical and non-clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
The IPD Executive will coordinate admissions and registration and manage bed allocation, patient transfers, and discharge procedures to optimize utilisation. They serve as the primary contact for in-patient queries, coordinating responses with departments like nursing, billing, and pharmacy. The role also requires maintaining accurate entries in the hospital HIS/ERP systems and handling patient concerns/service recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate admissions and IPD registration for incoming patients accurately.
- Manage bed allocation, patient transfers, and discharge procedures.
- Serve as primary contact for in-patient queries, coordinating with nursing, billing, and other departments.
- Maintain accurate entries in the hospital HIS/ERP systems (patient records, status changes, ward movements).
- Handle patient concerns and service recovery to maintain satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and documentation protocols.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of UAE hospital experience is mandatory.
- Prior inpatient or ward exposure is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong communication, patient-handling skills, and a professional bedside manner.
- Familiarity with HIS/ERP systems and confident data-entry skills.
