Job Description:
The QHSE Officer will implement, monitor, and maintain Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) systems across facility management sites. Based in Dubai, this safety professional will perform hazard risk assessments, conduct internal audits, manage contractor safety compliance, deliver toolbox talks and safety inductions, oversee permit-to-work systems, and ensure full compliance with UAE safety regulations and fire codes.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain QHSE systems in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify workplace hazards, and implement effective control measures.
- Perform inspections and audits while ensuring timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor contractor safety and support permit-to-work system compliance.
- Deliver QHSE inductions, training sessions, and safety awareness programs.
- Assist with emergency preparedness activities, including fire drills and evacuation exercises.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain QHSE compliance.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (3–4 years) or higher in Science, Safety, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Facility Management or a related operational field.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certification is essential.
- Strong knowledge of ADOSH-SF, UAE Fire Code, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Hands-on experience with risk assessments, contractor safety monitoring, and permit-to-work (PTW) protocols.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
- Excellent communication, audit reporting, and coordination skills.
