Job Description:
A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor in Dubai is seeking an experienced HSE Officer / Inspector to support major high-rise construction projects. Based in Dubai, this safety specialist will enforce site health and safety protocols, conduct risk assessments and audits, perform incident investigations, deliver safety briefings, and ensure full compliance with UAE construction regulations and project safety standards.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies across construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company procedures, and project safety standards.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for site personnel.
- Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with project management teams to improve overall site safety performance.
- Promote a proactive safety culture throughout all project activities.
🔹 Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in the construction sector, with proven exposure to high-rise building developments.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or an equivalent recognized HSE qualification.
- Previous project experience with EMAAR developments is highly preferred.
- In-depth technical knowledge of high-rise construction safety standards, risk assessments, and incident investigation methodologies within the engineering and contracting sector.
- Must currently reside in the UAE; immediate joiners or candidates on short notice are preferred.
