About the Role:
Belvedere British School is hiring an experienced and proactive IT Coordinator in Abu Dhabi. This immediate-start role is crucial for managing the school’s wide range of IT responsibilities, maintaining digital operations, and ensuring reliable technical support for staff and students in the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain school-wide IT systems, including all hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Deliver timely technical support to teaching staff, administrative personnel, and students.
- Manage setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of classroom technologies (projectors, interactive screens, etc.).
- Handle user account administration, backups, and data security in compliance with ADEK guidelines.
- Assist in introducing and implementing new school systems, digital learning platforms (like Google Classroom/MS Teams), and management software.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- 2–3 years of proven experience in IT support or system administration—experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Windows OS, networking, and MIS systems.
- Familiarity with educational platforms such as iSAMS, EMR, or similar tools is an advantage.
