Loader/Unloader – Night Freezer – Sysco – Front Royal, VA

Job Description:

Responsible for loading and unloading product to and from trailers in freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse environments in accordance with Preferred Work Methods.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Unload inbound foodservice products using material handling equipment and inspect for damage.
• Load outbound products onto trucks corresponding to mapping to maintain load balance.
• Verify refrigerated and frozen product temperatures according to quality procedures.
• Operate MHE safely including forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and enforce food safety and sanitation policies.

🔹 Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a functional capacity test.
• Must possess or obtain certification on material handling equipment.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to work night shift (11pm-7am, Sun-Thu) in cold freezer conditions down to zero degrees.
