Float Phlebotomist/Front Desk – One Medical – Fairfax, VA

Job Description:

The Float Patient Care Specialist will provide patient check-in/out support, insurance verification, venipuncture specimen collection, and clinical support while floating between Northern Virginia offices.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide venipuncture services for pediatric through geriatric populations.
• Manage front of house operations including check-in, check-out, insurance verification, and billing inquiries.
• Perform clinical tasks such as EKGs, vitals, non-blood specimen handling, and vaccinations.
• Ensure specimen labeling, lab tracking, and sterilization standards are maintained.
• Utilize internal technology platforms (EMR, Slack, G-Suite) to coordinate care.

🔹 Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside externships.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to float between Fairfax, Arlington, Reston, and Tyson office locations.
