Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can support daily operations for management and audit review. You will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and ensuring strict compliance with UAE VAT regulations. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Financial Principles and a proactive approach to month-end closing activities. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting activities and financial transactions to meet management targets.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable in Dubai to ensure 100% data integrity in invoice processing and collections.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and internal stakeholders to support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow while ensuring full compliance with UAE VAT calculations and filings.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and accounting software to maintain accurate financial records and prepare management reports.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or professional Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in accounting specifically within the UAE market.
- Strong background in management of AP/AR functions, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting standards.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE VAT laws, ACCA, CA, or CMA (completed or in progress).
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills with the capability to manage financial data independently in a fast-paced Dubai environment.
