Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Operations Executive specializing in Air Exports to join our team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can manage end-to-end air export shipments for management and logistics review. You will be responsible for preparing Air Waybills (AWB), coordinating with airlines and transport providers, and ensuring cargo readiness according to strict cut-off times. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Export Documentation and Customs Procedures and a proactive approach to handling urgent shipments and priority global deliveries. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end air export shipments from booking to final uplift to meet management and shipment performance targets.
- Support logistics integrity in Dubai, ensuring 100% data integrity in AWB preparation, commercial invoices, and packing list accuracy.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department, airlines, clearing agents (CHA), and warehouse teams to ensure smooth cargo flow and timely readiness.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to customers while ensuring compliance with airline requirements and customs regulations.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and ERP systems like CargoWise to optimize shipment tracking and professional logistics reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Relevant Logistics/Shipping Certification plus a relevant professional Freight Forwarding Certificate.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience specifically within air export operations in the UAE.
- Strong background in management of airline coordination, AWB issuance, and time-sensitive cargo booking procedures.
- Professional background in education or training regarding export documentation, CargoWise (or similar ERP), and global customs protocols.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, strong attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a high-volume logistics firm in Dubai.
