Job Description:
We are executing an urgent structural expansion within our corporate supply chain division and are seeking a highly analytical, commercially astute Procurement Officer to govern strategic sourcing schedules for active fit-out and building maintenance operations in Dubai. Operating as an essential purchasing and inventory controller within our energetic site delivery group, this full-time role focuses on optimizing vendor lead times, evaluating material quality metrics, and lowering project delivery costs under our unified resource management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, source, and procure high-quality engineering materials, fit-out specialized equipment, and sub-contractual facilities services in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Negotiate competitive wholesale unit pricing, secure strategic credit durations, and establish ironclad contract terms and delivery schedules with regional suppliers.
- Build, continuously evaluate, and maintain a highly reliable, audited registry of localized vendors to guarantee consistent material quality and operational support.
- Monitor the entire material fulfillment lifecycle systematically, coordinating with transit drivers to minimize onsite delivery bottlenecks.
- Provide localized procurement support directly to technical project directors for active fit-out, corporate refurbishment, and ongoing building maintenance programs from initial tender to completion.
- Maintain meticulous physical and digital records of purchasing orders, invoice clearances, material delivery notes, and technical compliance sheets.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent quantitative operational discipline.
- Demonstrated, verified professional history working as a Procurement Officer, Material Coordinator, or Buyer strictly within corporate interior fit-out projects or large-scale facilities management operations.
- Deep structural understanding of regional construction material markets, specialized interior finish sourcing, MEP spare parts, and general facilities supply structures.
- Advanced technical data literacy with practical proficiency deploying formulas, vendor price matrices, and procurement tracking spreadsheets inside Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional commercial negotiation capabilities, sharp analytical cost-modelling habits, and a highly disciplined approach to meeting aggressive project schedules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to negotiate effectively with diverse multi-national distributors and internal site teams.
