Job Description:
The Procurement Officer will manage material sourcing, vendor negotiations, and purchasing activities for MEP and construction projects. Based in Abu Dhabi, this experienced procurement professional will evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate optimal terms, issue purchase orders, track material deliveries, and maintain robust local vendor relationships to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure construction and MEP materials.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Prepare purchase orders and monitor delivery progress.
- Coordinate with project and site teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Maintain supplier relationships and accurate procurement records.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline.
- 2–5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the UAE MEP or construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of MEP materials, construction sourcing, and the local UAE supplier market.
- Proficiency in ERP procurement systems and Microsoft Office.
- Must currently reside in the UAE.
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, and vendor management skills.
