Job Description:

The Accountant will oversee daily financial transactions, general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting for CRCEG Middle East Contracting in Dubai. Based in Dubai, this experienced accounting professional will support month-end and year-end closing processes, assist with budgeting and forecasting, facilitate internal/external audits, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and local financial regulations within a multinational construction environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and account reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and local regulations.
  • Work closely with internal departments to resolve financial queries and improve reporting processes.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, or CMA are a distinct advantage.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience specifically within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, and account reconciliation.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and financial modeling).
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit requirements, and local financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in a multicultural environment preferred.
