Job Description:
A prominent logistics company is seeking an experienced Pricing Manager – Freight Forwarding & Logistics to join its team in Dubai. Based in Dubai, this pricing professional will drive competitive freight rate strategies, negotiate with airlines, shipping lines, and transport providers, manage RFQs and tenders to support sales teams, monitor market capacity, and optimize cost structures across multi-modal cargo operations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Source and negotiate competitive freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, and overseas agents.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations while maximizing profitability.
- Support the sales team with RFQs, tenders, and strategic pricing proposals.
- Monitor freight market trends, pricing movements, and carrier capacity.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure pricing aligns with operational capabilities.
- Maintain pricing databases and recommend efficient logistics solutions.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience within the UAE freight forwarding and logistics market.
- In-depth expertise in air freight, sea freight (FCL/LCL), GCC overland transport, cross-trade, customs clearance, and Incoterms 2020.
- Strong established network with shipping lines, airlines, regional transport fleets, and international agent networks.
- Proven capability in carrier contract negotiations, tender management, rate sourcing, and freight cost optimization.
- Familiarity with project cargo operations, value-added logistics, and Dangerous Goods (DG) handling is preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, commercial negotiation, and communication capabilities.
