Job Description:

We are executing an immediate strategic medical appointment within our perioperative department and are seeking a qualified, highly motivated Part-Time Anaesthesia Technician to support critical surgical cases in Dubai. Operating as an essential technical anchor in a fast-paced clinical theater, this role focuses on accelerating procedural turnarounds, auditing anesthetic machinery logs, and maximizing sterile safety guidelines under our structured medical management framework.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist consultant anesthesiologists smoothly during all induction, maintenance, and reversal phases of general, regional, and local anesthesia procedures.
  • Prepare, calibrate, maintain, and rigorously monitor all anesthesia gas machines, ventilators, physiological monitors, and clinical intubation supplies.
  • Ensure uncompromised mechanical functioning of respiratory systems, tracking gas pressures and ensuring absolute adherence to safety and sterilization benchmarks.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, physiological parameters, and recovery metrics closely before, during, and after anesthesia administration.
  • Follow all established clinical protocols, sharp disposal rules, and stringent infection control procedures with maximum accuracy.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary operating room teams to align surgical workflows, ensuring all digital inventory ledgers reflect accurate drug and hardware utility.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree, or formal Graduate Diploma in Anaesthesia Technology or an equivalent accredited clinical sciences discipline.
  • An active, valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) License as an Anaesthesia Technician, or a verified DHA Eligibility Letter, is strictly mandatory.
  • Current, verified certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of hands-on, successful professional experience operating as a practicing technician specifically within the UAE healthcare sector.
  • Advanced technical data literacy with practical proficiency logging machine diagnostics and checking patient metrics inside Microsoft Excel or integrated electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Strong collaborative abilities to operate efficiently under pressure within a multidisciplinary clinical team; absolute immediate availability is essential.
  • Preference will be explicitly given to qualified professionals holding their own independent or family sponsorship visa status.
