Job Description:

The Pricing Executive will analyze freight rate trends, prepare commercial freight quotations, negotiate ocean and air freight rates with carriers, liaise with overseas agents, and collaborate with logistics management teams to maintain competitive pricing strategies.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive and competitive air freight and sea freight (FCL/LCL) quotations for sales teams and clients.
• Negotiate freight rates with ocean liners, airlines, co-loaders, overseas network agents, and local transporters.
• Monitor international shipping rate fluctuations, surcharges, local port charges, and maintain updated rate tariffs.
• Coordinate closely with internal sales, customer service, and operations departments to streamline customer inquiries.
• Support import and export freight pricing requests, ensuring accuracy in all cost sheets and commercial proposals.
• Analyze profit margins on shipping quotes while balancing commercial competitiveness and company revenue targets.
• Maintain structured databases of shipping liner contracts, agent contacts, and tariff agreements.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Commerce, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in freight forwarding pricing, rate procurement, or commercial logistics in the UAE.
• In-depth technical knowledge of sea freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, Incoterms 2020, port handling fees, and customs duties.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, rate comparison, and numerical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong follow-up capabilities under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in freight management software, CRM platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
