Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Service Engineer to join our technical team in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our clinical framework, requiring a professional who can manage and maintain medical devices for management and health authority review. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of equipment across various healthcare facilities in the UAE, performing regular maintenance and complex troubleshooting. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Medical Equipment Systems and a proactive approach to safety standards. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, maintain, and ensure the safe operation of all medical equipment and devices across our Abu Dhabi healthcare partner facilities.
- Perform preventive maintenance and technical troubleshooting to meet management and safety requirements.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and clinical teams regarding equipment training, safety protocols, and health authority compliance.
- Diagnose technical faults and provide effective problem-solving for complex medical systems and instrumentation.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools for accurate documentation of service reports and equipment life-cycle management.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a relevant academic discipline.
- Strong background in medical equipment systems, safety standards, and technical documentation.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE health authority regulations and engineering protocols.
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating operational excellence and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel across the country to support various healthcare facilities as part of a performance-driven team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage technical Information Technology interfaces for diagnostic equipment.
